Players learn to quickly recognize and read sight words, which are words with spelling that is not always straightforward. Sight words are the most frequently used words in the English language and make up about 50 - 75% of all written material. Learning and mastering sight words is a key step in becoming a succesful, fluent reader. The sight words used in this game have been specially selected by leading educators as the most fundamental for reading development.
How To Play
Practice reading sight words with this variation of Bingo. The dealer slides the Zingo! Zinger to reveal two sight word tiles. If one of the tiles matches a word on a player's card the player calls out the word and places the tile over the word on the card. Play continues until ll 9 spaces are filled or a specified pattern is created. Game cards are double sided for two levels of game play.
